Debra, 55, of Rosepine, LA, passed from this life, Thursday, January 2, 2014, at the ICU Department at Beauregard Memorial Hospital, into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.


Visitation will be from 5:00pm until 9:00pm on January 4, 2014 at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Then, on January 5, 2014 she will be carried to Sugartown Baptist Church where from 12:00 noon until time of service at 2:00pm will be a short visitation time.  Bro. Jim Miers and Bro. Frank Ott will officiate the service.  Interment will be at Sugartown Baptist Church Cemetery.


Debra lived in Baton Rouge, LA, Detroit, MI, and Natchitoches, LA before coming back home.  She was a professional seamstress, wonderful friend, and sister.  She loved to fish, crochet, knit and cook.  Debra was never afraid to talk to people about her Lord and Savior.  In her last few years, she enjoyed most of all her 2 grandchildren, Breanna and MJ Bradberry.


She is survived by her husband, Henry Harriman of Rosepine, LA; daughter, Virginia Nicole Bradberry and son-in-law, Mane; grandchildren, Breanna and MJ Bradberry; son, Travis Bowden and daughter-in-law, Amanda of Baton Rouge, LA; sister, Darlene Miers and husband Jim of DeRidder, LA; and many, many friends.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Jimmie Weldon and Frankie June Fontenot Weldon.


We would like to take this time to say a huge THANK YOU to the ER Dept. at Beauregard Memorial Hospital on New Year’s Day and evening of 2014, especially, Dr. Oglesby, Sharon Manitzas, and all the staff for their kindness, attention, and forthcoming.  Also, the staff in the ICU room and nurses, Susan Midkiff and JoAnne Menard, thank you for being there and being so kind.  Thank you to all the prayer partners-you know who you are.  Also, for support from our family, Caleb, Britt, Ruth, and especially Barbara.  She loved you so much.
