Dean Collins

Dean Collins, 57, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 in Lake Charles, LA.  Those left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Donald Collins of Rosepine, LA and Kenneth Collins and wife Linda of Dry Creek, LA; sisters, Reba Wisby of DeRidder, LA, Barbara Johnson and husband J.L. of Cravens, LA, and Joyce Weeks of Rosepine, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Gladys Collins, and sister Vernice Betkey.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 12, 2013 at 10:00am at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Burial will follow at Smyrna Cemetery in Sugartown, LA.  Rev. Tim Lee, Rev. Gary Bankson and Rev. Jerome Hayes will officiate.
