David Wayne Brock

David Wayne Brock, 62, of Starks, LA, passed from this life on Saturday, May 21, 2016 in Lake Charles, LA.  Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Emma Menefee Brock of Beaumont, TX; son, Joseph Wayne Brock of Beaumont, TX; daughter, Christina DeVette Brock of Beaumont, TX; stepdaughters, Gwendolyn Menefee, Janis, Lina, Holly and Ashley Morrow all of Beaumont, TX; brother, Murphy Brock, Jr. of Lake Charles, LA; sister, Edna Jacobs Smith and husband Eugene,Sr. of Shreveport, LA; grandsons, Kenneth Dean and Phillip Harrison; and great granddaughter, Emma Abriel Curtis; special brother, Sampson Joubert, III; and special grandson, Jerrick Odell.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Edna and Murphy Brock, Sr.; 4 brothers; 2 sisters; son, Eric Wayne Brock; and grandson, Tyrell Brock.

Visitation and funeral service will be held Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Calvary Apostolic Church in Starks, LA.  Visitation begins at 9:00am until time of service at 12:00 noon.  Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Starks.  Rev. Jeremy Shields and Rev. Joseph Chapman will officiate.
