David Michael Carheel

On February 8, 1958, David Michael Carheel was born to the union of the late Johnnie Carhee of Many, Louisiana and Laura Mae Guidry of Beaumont, Texas.  He attended George Washington Carver High School in DeRidder, Louisiana and later received his GED.  Mike joined Mount Canaan Baptist Church at an early age.

Mike was received by his Heavenly Father on February 25, 2012.  He was preceded in death by his father, Johnnie Carhee, one sister, Johnnie Mae Maxie, two brothers, Tommy J. Carhee and Theo Daniel Carheel.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Laura Samuel of Shreveport, Louisiana; four sisters, Gladys Brazzle of DeRidder, Louisiana; Ruby Conway (Bernard) of Goochland, Virginia; Jacklyn Wesson of Dallas, Texas, Theresa Crutchfield of Shreveport, Louisiana; two brothers, Gary Carheel (Erma) of DeRidder, Louisiana and Johnnie Carheel of San Diego, California and a host of nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Lone Star Baptist Church in Many, Louisiana, from 10:00am to 1:00pm.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, March 3, 2012 also at Lone Star Baptist Chuch in Many.  Burial will follow at Lone Star Cemetery in Many, Louisiana.  Rev. John Crosby will officiate.
