David Leroy Nall

David Leroy Nall, 76, of Rosepine, LA, passed from this life on Saturday, October 22, 2022.

Dave, formerly of Lakeview, NC, was born July 7th, 1946, in Morehead City, NC.

He graduated from Union Pines High School in 1965. After graduation, he joined the US Army, from which he proudly retired from in 1997, after serving 20 years. Dave was a dedicated husband, friend, dad and pawpaw. He loved being home with his family and playing golf as often as possible.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of thirty-six years, Paula Nall of Rosepine, LA; daughters, Sonja Nall Jones of Aberdean, NC, Amber Nall Yielding and Daniel of DeRidder, LA; brothers, Tracy “Buddy” Clinton Nall, Jr. of Arkansas, Michael D. Nall and Cyndy of Pinehurst, NC; sisters, Barbara Nall Miller of Southern Pines, NC, Norma R. Nall and Paul of Pinehurst, NC; grandchildren, Jeremy “Evan” Jones and Felicity M. Jones, both of Aberdeen, NC, Jeremiah J. Yielding of DeRidder, LA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tracy Clinton and Viola Mae McNeill Nall; sister, Frances Nall Seyler.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral service will be at 9:00 AM, Friday, October 28, 2022, also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home. David Czudek will speak during the service. Pallbearers will be David Czudek, Jr., Michael Czudek, John Nelson, Charlie Grant, Jr., Aaron Grant, Lance Grant. Burial will follow at Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville, LA.
