David Leon Gibson

David Leon Gibson, 77 of Kyle, TX passed from this life on Thursday, January 3, 2013. Mr. Gibson will be remembered for his sense of humor and telling funny jokes. He never met a stranger and will be greatly missed. Those left to cherish his memory are his sister, Yvonne Dewvall and husband Lee Roy of Austin, TX; niece, Michelle Dewvall of Austin, TX; nephews, Michael Dewvall of Austin, TX, Gregg Oubre and wife Lily of Waco, TX and Steve Oubre of South Carolina; great niece, Hannah Oubre of Waco, TX.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Calvary Apostolic Church in Starks, LA from 4:00pm until 9:00pm. Funeral services will be Wednesday, January, 9, 2013 at 12:00pm noon also at Calvary Apostolic Church in Starks, LA. Burial will follow at Fountain Cemetery in Starks. Rev. Jeremy Shields will officiate. Funeral services are under the direction of Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.
