David Glen Gillis

David Glen Gillis, 64, of Starks, LA, passed from this life on Tuesday, February 19, 2013.  Those left to cherish his memory are his brother, Greg Gillis and wife Becky of Starks, LA; niece, Melinda Johnson; great nieces, Jordan Gillis and Kennedie Stewart.  He was preceeded in death by his parents, Lawson and Vernell Gillis and sister, Poppy Buxton Harvell.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2013 from 6:00pm until 10:00pm at First Baptist Church in Starks, LA.  Funeral services will be Friday, February 22, 2013 at 12:00 noon also at First Baptist Church of Starks.  Burial will follow at Gillis Cemetery in Starks.  Rev. Jaceson Johnson will officiate.
