Darwin Andrew Boudreaux, beloved husband, Daddy, and Grandpa, “crossed the creek” and went home on Monday, March 14, 2016. He was born to Edna Hickman and Norman Andrew Boudreaux on February 15, 1947.
Darwin began his career as a special education teacher in the Beauregard Parish school system in 1976 and retired in 2005. He also did statistical surveys for the U.S. Department of Agriculture and was a role player for Cubic Worldwide at Fort Polk.
Darwin is survived by his wife of 47 years, Gwen Meadows Boudreaux; daughter, Noelle Bohannon (Mitch) of Sulphur; 3 grandchildren, Seth, Sara, and Sam Bohannon; and his brother, Terry (Denise) of DeRidder.
Cremation will be performed by Myers-Colonial Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held there on Saturday, March 19, 2016, at 11:00am. Darwin’s ashes will be scattered over the land he loved and worked for many years.
