d. June 9, 2024

Daron Owen Williamson, 55, passed away June 9, 2024 at home in Mobile, AL. He was born October 18, 1968 to Harold Williamson and LaFavor Williamson at Barksdale AFB, Bossier City, LA.

Daron graduated from Southwood High School in Shreveport, LA in 1986. He furthered his education at LSU, graduating in 1990. While in college, Daron interned at the 101st Congress for U.S. Senator John Breaux of Louisiana.

He survived by his wife, Debra Eaves Williamson and granddaughter, Finn Powell, both of Mobile, AL; his father, Harold L. Williamson of Bethany, TX; mother, LaFavor Williamson of Kalispell, MT; brother, Jason Williamson; sister, Kallie Williamson; nephews, Tyler, Hayden and a soon to be baby niece; father-in-law, Raymond Eaves and a host of other family and friends.

Daron was preceded in death by his stepson, Jacob Powell; stepmother, Danelle Williamson; mother-in-law, Alice Faye Eaves; paternal grandparents, maternal grandparents, Douglas and Clara Williams, who he spent many summers with as a child.

Daron had an enormous love for his family and a great sense of humor. He will be remembered for all the love and support he provided for his stepson, Jacob and granddaughter, Finn. He loved and cared for them both as if they were his own children.

Daron loved the outdoors and was very talented in landscaping, you could find him in his yard building flowerbeds, planting flowers and shrubbery. He had the prettiest yard in the neighborhood. Continuing with Daron’s love of the outdoors, he enjoyed riding his side by side, hunting and going to the beach. He and Debbie walked many miles together along the Mississippi and Alabama beaches picking up seashells and discussing life. Daron particularly enjoyed hunting and in recent years belonged to a lease near Coushatta, LA. His goal was to kill a hog, this past fall, he along with his father, brother, two nephews and other hunters went for several days to the lease and he finally got the BIG one.

Our lives will not be the same without him.
