Dale Dougherty, 79, of DeRidder, passed from this life on Monday, October 13, 2014.  Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Shannon Dougherty and wife Shelia of Merryville, LA; Roger Dougherty and wife Kathy of Many, LA, and Rodney Dougherty and wife Veronica of Rosepine, LA; grandchildren, Clifton Dougherty of Merryville, LA, Crystal Hammerschmidt and husband Chad of DeRidder, LA, Todd Clark and wife Becky of Ruston, LA, Amanda Addison and husband Isaac of Humble, TX, Cody Dougherty of Merryville, LA, and Heather Cryer and husband Jeffery of Anacoco, LA; great grandchildren, Scott and Blake Hammerschmidt, Clark Addison, Eli Clark, Addison Clark, Hadley Dougherty, and Baylen Cryer.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 14, 2014 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, La.  Funeral services are Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at 10:00am at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Newlin Cemetery in Singer, LA.  Rev. Jim Miers will officiate.
