Curtis Edward Meaut

Curtis Edward Meaut, 51, passed from this life on Sunday, March 4, 2012 at his home in DeRidder, Louisiana.

Those left to cherish his memory are brothers, L.C. Bailey of Newnan, Georgia; Pete Bailey of Mooresville, North Carolina; Jack Meaut of Beaumont, Texas and Charles Meaut of California; sisters, Linda Johnson of Rosepine, Louisiana and Sylvia Pelusi of Newnan, Georgia; brother-in-law, Richie Young of DeRidder, Louisiana; sister-in-law, Diane Bailey of Sugartown, Louisiana and a host of nieces and nephews. Curtis was an inspiration to everyone and was loved by all.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Florine Meaut; brothers Raymond Sensing and Charles Bailey; sister Alice Young; nephews John Johnson and Charles Bailey Jr. and niece, Regina Bailey.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 5, 2012 from 5:00pm to 10:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home and also Tuesday, March 6, 2012 from 8:00am to 10:00pm at the funeral home.  Visitation will also be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at Graybow Pentecostal Church in DeRidder, Louisiana.  Funeral service will be Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at 2:00pm at Graybow Pentecostal Church in DeRidder. Burial will follow at Blue Branch Cemetery in Pitkin, Louisiana.  Brother Kenneth Gibson will officiate.
