Connie Eaves “Sissy” Williamson, 63, of Merryville, LA, passed from this life on Tuesday, December 2, 2014. She was born to the late C.L. and Ople Eaves, April, 1, 1951, in DeRidder, LA. Sissy graduated from Merryville High School in 1969. She married N.R. “Rusty” Williamson on February 21, 1969 and had three children. Sissy was a good Christian lady and was an active and longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Merryville. She was a compassionate, caring woman who always had a smile and a kind word for every person who ever met her. Sissy’s family meant everything to her. She always thought of others over herself. She loved cooking and baking. She was a true southern lady. Sissy served as Justice of the Peace for Beauregard Parish, Ward 2, for the past 18 years. She was a Notary Public for over 30 years.
She is survived by her husband, N.R. “Rusty” Williamson; daughter, Lisa Renee’ Williamson; son, Joseph R. Williamson; brother, Stephen L. Eaves and wife Judy; grandchildren, Christian David Cervera, Victoria Rain Cervera, and Paris Shyanne Newman; mother-in-law, Jackie Williamson; special lifelong friend, Jacque Erwin Riley; dear nieces, Stephanie Leigh Eaves Hall and Erin Claudine Eaves Chesson. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Victoria Anne Williamson; father, Charles Lester Eaves; mother, Ople Winford Eaves.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 3, 2014 from 5:00pm until 10:00pm and Thursday, December 4, 2014 from 10:00am until time of funeral service at 2:00pm at First Baptist Church of Merryville, LA. Burial will follow at Cannon Cemetery in Merryville. Rev. Wayne Squyres will officiate.
