Colten Lee Wellman

Colten Lee Wellman, 7, of Pineville, LA, passed from this life on Friday, July 14, 2017.

Those left to cherish his memory are his father, Trevor Wellman of Lacamp, LA; mother, Brittany Lynn Wellman and fiancé David Moore, Jr., of Pineville, LA; grandparents, Velda Wellman of Lacamp, LA, Gordon and Sherry Tarver of Lacamp, LA, Harvey Ferguson, Jr. and Liz of Port Barre, LA; great grandparents,   Martha Wellman of Lacamp, LA, Harvey and Nancy Ferguson, Sr., of DeRidder, LA, Lowell and Patricia Tarver of Lacamp, LA, Patricia Gore of Singer LA and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, family and friends. Those preceding him in death are his grandparents, Steve Wellman, Jerry Schuyler Gore, Sr., and George and Ida Reiher; great grandparents, Morgan Wellman and Bill and Iris Bond; cousin, Harold Copeland, Jr. Colten was loved by all who knew him, but especially his family.  He will be truly missed and forever cherished in our hearts. He was a gift from above, taken home too soon.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 from 3:00 PM until time of service at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 all at Lacamp Church of God in Lacamp, LA.  Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Lacamp, LA. Brother Shawn Waggoner will officiate the service.  The pallbearers will be Trevor Wellman, Brian Herrington, David Moore, Jr., Gordon Tarver, James Pelt, Harvey Ferguson, Jr. and honorary pallbearers are Brad Pelt, Lowell Tarver, Harvey Ferguson, Sr.
