Clyde Edward Snider, Jr.

Clyde Edward Snider, Jr. better known as “CJ”, went to be with our Lord on December 7, 2020. He was born in Houston, TX to Clyde Edward Snider, Sr. and Deborah Lynn Stallsworth Snider.

CJ was a resident of Evans, LA. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Cecil Snider; maternal grandmother, Thelma Jo Gunter; maternal uncle, Melvin (Tiny) Smith; paternal uncle, Daniel Snider.

Those left to cherish his memory are his four beautiful daughters, Sarah, Cloie, Missy, and Sadie; the love of his life, Jenafer Arter of Evans, LA; his parents, Clyde Sr. and Deborah Snider of Merryville, LA; sister, Renee Snider Mendez and husband, Benjamin Mendez; three nephews, Jeremias, Abraham and Isaac, all of Cleveland, TX; his brother, Dustin Snider and wife, Janna Snider; nephews, Garrett and Jase, all of Crosby, TX; his paternal grandmother, Betty Lou Snider of Highlands, TX; and numerous aunts uncles, cousins, and other family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 11, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM, also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home. Brother Brent Johnson and Brother Roger Harrington will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Dustin Snider, Kendall Smith, Anthony Maricle, Thomas Geer, Ronald King, Patrick Young. Honorary Pallbearer will be John Baggett. Burial will follow at Merryville Cemetery in Merryville, LA.

CJ was well liked and will be remembered for his sense of humor. He will be missed by all those who knew him. He loved life and his family and friends.
