Clifford H. "Cliff" Pruitt

Clifford H. Pruitt, Jr., 56, born in Lake Charles, LA on May 9, 1957, lost his battle to lung cancer on November 27, 2013.  He fought courageously for more than 3 years.  Cliff graduated from DeRidder High School in 1976 and spent many years in a successful retail career allowing him to travel around the world including most of the United States.  He was most recently employed as Regional Manager for FGX International until he was forced to retire for health reasons.

On November 18, 1978, he married Debi Stafford of Pensacola, Florida.  Cliff and family are members of Grace Church of DeRidder.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford H. Pruitt, Sr.

He is survived by his family that loves him and will miss him dearly, wife, Debi Pruitt; daughters, Jordan Pruitt and Haley Pruitt; and the most precious granddaughter of all, Layla Grace Hagerich; mother, Nelwyn Pruitt; sister, Cindy Leger; and mother-in-law, Agnes Stafford of Pensacola, FL; a host of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 9:00pm on  Sunday, December 1, 2013  at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in Deridder, LA, and on Monday, December 2, 2013 from 9:00am until 11:00am at Grace Church in DeRidder, LA.  Celebration of Life to be held on Monday, December 2, 2013 at 11:00am at Grace Church.  Pastor George Lee Glass, Pastor George L. Glass and Pastor James Glass will be officiating.  Interment will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral services are under the direction of Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation to be made in Cliff’s honor to American Cancer Society of Grace Church Building Fund.
