Cleveland Mayes, Jr., 46, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Sunday, April 2, 2023.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of eleven years, Kim Mayes of DeRidder, LA; sons, Deauntrea Mayes and Pilar, Cleveland Mayes, III, Braxton Mayes, all of DeRidder, LA; mother, Sharon Mayes of DeRidder, LA; brothers, Lionell Mayes of Spokane, WA, Courtney Greene of New Llano, LA, Maceo Mayes of Stockton, CA, Stedvino Mayes of Stockton, CA; sisters, Malika Mayes of Alexandria, LA, Rashiva Mayes of Forney, TX; grandchildren, Bradley Mayes, Cassisus Mayes; godson, Kamryn Joyce and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Cleveland Mayes, Sr.; grandmother, Dorothy Mayes; uncles, Elton Mayes, Milton Thomas, Lionell Greene.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 7, 2023 from 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM at Grace Church in DeRidder, LA. Pastor Wilfert Williams will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Courtney Greene, Desmond Silas, Eric Smith, Jedaire Osborn, Tarie Harris, Russell Chew, Cornelius Walton. Honorary Pallbearers will be The DeRidder High School Class of 1995, Dave Heath, Deauntrae Mayes, Darius Mayes, Bo Davis, Xavier Pettigen, Jimmy Childs. Burial will follow at Spikes Cemetery in Bancroft, LA.
