Claudia Erwin Watson

Claudia Erwin Watson, 84, of DeRidder, LA went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 4, 2013.  Mrs. Watson worked for many years as a nurse for Dr. Lee and Dr. Sibley in Merryville, LA.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Melbourne D. Watson; son, Doug Erwin and wife Diana of Merryville, LA; daughters, Patti Erwin Blackmon and husband Allen of Danville, AR and Jacque Eaves Riley and husband Ron of Sulphur, LA; 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her parents and 6 siblings.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at 10:00am also at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Cannon Cemetery in Merryville, LA.  Pastor Wayne Squires will officiate. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.  II Timothy 4:7.
