Cindy Arlene Sturgeon

Cindy Arlene Sturgeon, 70, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on April 26, 2017.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, James Sturgeon and wife Pam of DeRidder, LA, Paul Sturgeon and wife Amber of San Antonio, TX; daughter, Mary Phillips and husband Michael of DeRidder, LA; brothers, Ronnie Williams of Rosepine, LA, Duane Williams and wife Diane of DeRidder, LA, Darrell Williams and wife Medda of Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren, Jeremy Parker, Nicole Taylor, Lacey Thibodeaux, River Sturgeon, Benjamin Phillips, Aislinn Sturgeon and Keira Sturgeon; three great grandchildren and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis & Lois Williams; brother, Ralph Williams and sister, Nadine Fletcher.

Ms. Cindy loved playing BINGO and tending to plants and flowers.  Her greatest love, however, was her kids and her grandkids; they were her life.  In her latter years, she enjoyed her circle of friends at Westwood Manor and her time spent there was joyful.  Ms. Cindy was a life to be treasured and will forever be remembered in our hearts.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 28, 2017 from 5:00-9:00PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home, in DeRidder, LA. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home on Saturday, April 29, 2017.  Elder Jeff Mosley will officiate.  Burial will follow at Rosepine Cemetery in Rosepine, LA.
