Christy Strickland

Christy Strickland, 37, of Merryville, LA passed from this life on Thursday, February 14, 2013. Christy, was a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Keith Strickland; sons, Zachary and Walker Strickland; daughter, Haili Strickland; granddaughter, Xoey Strickland all of Merryville, LA; mother, Linda Patterson of Evans, LA and she was blessed with two wonderful fathers, Wayne Patterson of Evans, LA; and Ronald Clark of Bossier City, LA; brothers, Jason Clark and wife Stacey of DeRidder, LA and Wayne Patterson of Conroe, TX; sisters, Leah Smith  and husband Alfred of Evans, LA and Felicia Hayes and husband James of Grand Cane, LA; grandparents, Syviel Jeane and Mary Erickson.  She was preceeded  in death by her brother, Gary Lynn Patterson, great grandmother, Annie Jarrell, grandmother, Jolene DeMent and grandparents, Josie and Dan Patterson.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2013 from 12:00 noon until time of service on Sunday, February 17, 2013 at 2:00pm at Congregational Methodist Church in Evans, LA.  Burial will follow at Evans Community Cemetery in Evans, LA.  Bro. Kevin Coward and Bro. Phillip Jarrell will officiate.
