Christine Evon (Tina) Berwick Thompson

Mrs. Christine (Tina) Evon Berwick Thompson, 62, of Starks, Louisiana passed away Thursday, February 16, 2012 at Christus St. Patrick’s Hospital.

Mrs. Thompson was born in Port Arthur, Texas, raised in Fields, Louisiana and lived most of her life in Starks. Mrs. Thompson will be most remembered for her love and devotion to her family.She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 40 years, James O. Thompson; daughter, Jennifer Renea Thompson; mother, Dorothy Williams; sisters, Sandra Teeter, Kathy Hammett, Sharon Kay Williams, and Debi Norgaard; brother, Roger Dale Williams and twenty nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Homer Berwick and step-father, Jimmy Williams.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 18, 2012 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm and Sunday, February 19, 2012 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Gambrell Baptist Church in Starks, Louisiana.  Funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 18, 2012 at 2:00pm at Gambrell Baptist Church in Starks.  Rev. Damon Bickham will officiate.
