Charlie Parker, Jr., 74, of Merryville, LA, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at his home.  Those left to cherish his memory are his Daughters, Glenda Goodwin and husband Michael, and Shelia Clayton and husband Joel; sister, Edna Louise Reynolds and husband Harold all of Merryville, LA; Grandchildren, Joey Goodwin, Devan Goodwin, and Morgan Cheever and husband Willie; Great Grandson, Gavin Goodwin.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Lydia Parker; Parents, Donia and Charlie Parker, Sr.; brother, David Parker; and sister, Lillie Allbritton.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 14, 2014 from 5:00pm until 10:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in Deridder, LA.  Funeral services will be Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 11:00am at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Cannon Cemetery in Merryville, LA.  Rev. Arlen Smith will officiate.
