Charles N. Tuck

Charles N. Tuck, 85, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Sunday, August 18, 2024. 

Charles was a lifetime employee of Boise Cascade (now PCA). He loved being an operator on the paper machine where he was a part of the original startup crew in 1969. Before retiring at the age of seventy-one, he worked in special assignments at the mill. Charles is loved and will be missed by all who knew him. 

 Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife sixty-six years, Jane L. Tuck of DeRidder, LA; daughters, Kim Tuck Bailey and Morgan Bailey of DeRidder, LA, Shelbie Huggins and Eric of Lake Charles, LA; sister, Virginia Cribb of Roanoke Rapides, NC; grandchildren, Jamie Broussard and Chuck, Kristen Benson and Cory, Carla Duplechin and Cory, Courtney Huggins, Ty Huggins; ten great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, several step grandchildren and great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

 He was preceded in death by his infant twin daughters, Gloria Gwen and Diane Lynn; infant son, Richard Wesley; father, Edward Tuck; mother, Elizabeth Herbert; stepfather, Pete Herbert; brother, Gene Tuck.

 Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024, from 11:00 AM until the time of memorial service at 2:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Brother Bill Smith will officiate the service.
