Charles Ray Buell

Charles Ray Buell, beloved member of the Deridder community, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2024, in his hometown. Born on October 24, 1964, in Deridder, LA, Charles was a skilled carpenter who dedicated his life to the construction industry. His passion for building and creating left a lasting impact on those around him, as well as on the structures he helped bring to life throughout his career. Charles will always be remembered for his meticulous craftsmanship, his wonderful stories, and his care for the outdoors. He is survived by his brothers; James Buell and Lonnie Buell, and his nieces; Samantha Buell, Brittany Buell, and Dorothy Cantrell Oetter, Nephews; Kenneth Buell Jr, Cody Buell, Brandon Buell, and Scotty Cantrell. His dog Rebel Buell.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents; Warren Buell and Glenda Bue, his brothers; Kenneth Buell Sr., and Ronnie Buell, Sister; Melba Cantrell, and one Nephew; Dustin Buell.

A funeral service will be held in the Myers Colonial Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at 11:00am. A burial will follow at Newlin Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, September 16, 2024, from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Myers Colonial Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Tuesday at 10:00am until the time of services.
