Charles "C.B." Tilley

Charles Benjamin “C. B.” Tilley, 86, passed from this life on Friday, June 20, 2012 in DeRidder, Louisiana.  Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mildred Tilley; sons, Daniel, Ronald, Ted, Eric, Jerry and Terry Tilley; 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Asa Tilley and Alter Cain Tilley; sister, Clarice Tilley Haymon; brothers, Robert David Tilley, LeRoy Tilley, Clarence Tilley and Robert Tilley and grandson, Johnny Eric Tilley.Charles loved his kids more than anything.

He carried photos of his kids and told people that was his life.  He loved to play guitar and sing in church.

Visitation will be on Friday, June 22, 2012 from 5:00pm till 9:00pm at Gospel Lighthouse in DeRidder, Louisiana. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 10:00am at Gospel Lighthouse.  Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, Louisiana.  Bro. Eddie Tilley and Bro. George L. Glass Jr. will officiate.
