Chaniya Adora Piper, 21, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Sunday, October 10, 2021.

Those left to cherish her memory are her father, James Piper and Shana of Plano, TX; mother, Chamika Roberson and George of DeRidder, LA; step-mother, Janel Land of Houston, TX; brother, Corion Roberson of DeRidder, LA; sisters, Chanika Davis and Desireé  Davis, both of DeRidder, LA; grandmothers, Isadora Piper of DeRidder, LA, Cynthia Johnson of DeRidder, LA; uncles, John Piper and Carolyn of Houston, TX, Glenn Piper and Sheila of Houston, TX; aunties, Rosie Jackson of DeRidder, LA, Chalonda Johnson of DeRidder, LA; godmother, Mary Watson of DeRidder, LA; best friend, Dyamond Ned of Houston, TX and a host of cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, James Piper, Jr., Albert Johnson; aunties, Chaneé Rose, Veronica Wilson; godsister, Veronica Wilson; godfather, Gerard Jackson; great grandmothers, Verda Mayes, Catherine Gilchrist; great grandfather, Vernon Johnson.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM at St. Mary Church of God in Christ in DeRidder, LA.  Elder David Iles will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Sebastian Land, Carl Jackson, DaQuan Rose, JuJuan Johnson, DeMark Watts, Jonathan Walters. Burial will follow at Community Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
