Cecil Ray Pinder, age 65, passed away on May 11, 2023. He was an avid fisherman and hunter who was known for his infectious zest for life and his love of the great outdoors.
Cecil was also a dedicated man, and he cherished the time he spent with his brother Dean Pinder, sister-in-law Peggy Pinder, and his two nephews Josh and Jacob Pinder.
Friends and family will remember Cecil as a vibrant and colorful personality, always quick with a joke or a story, and always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. He was a true southern gentleman, with a heart as big as the great outdoors he loved so much.
Cecil's passing leaves a deep void in the lives of those who knew and loved him, but his memory will be cherished forever. Cecil's legacy will live on through the memories he created, the laughter he shared, and the joy he brought into the world. Rest in peace, Cecil Ray Pinder, and may your spirit continue to shine bright.
Those left to cherish his memory are his brother, Dean Pinder and Peggy Sue of DeRidder, LA; nephews, Jacob Pinder and Anna Beth of Portland, OR, Joshua Pinder of DeRidder, LA and a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Annie Mae Pinder.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 15, 2023 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.
