Carter Ames Sonnenberg

Carter Ames Sonnenberg, 58, of Singer, LA, passed from this life on Saturday, September 22, 2018.

Carter was born in Port Arthur, TX.  The ranch in Singer, LA was his happiest place on earth from the age of five until the time of his death.  He loved raising cattle and ducks.  Carter also was an avid supporter of his greatest interest, his favorite sports teams, the Astros, the Rams, the Knicks, Texas A&M, and the LSU Tigers.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Dustin Sonnenberg of Katy, TX; parents, Jeremy “Litz” and Marsha Sonnenberg of Fort Worth, TX and Singer, LA; sister, Allison Sonnenberg of Arlington, TX. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ralph Gorman; maternal grandmother, Mabel Gorman; and his paternal grandparents, Bill and Ella Sonnenberg.

A celebration of life will be held at Singer Baptist Church on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 3:00 PM.  Brother Sherman Clark will officiate the service.
