Carolyn Sue Williams Hinson

Carolyn Sue Hinson, 81, of Rosepine, LA, passed from this life on Wednesday, May 10, 2023.

Carolyn is loved by many and will be missed by all. Together we are rejoicing as she is reunited with her loved ones in Heaven.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Tommy Landry and Cathy of DeRidder, LA; daughters, Marie Garst and Kenny of Cordell, OK, Kathie Terry and Steve of Cordell, OK, Laura Steele and Quinton of Lake Charles, LA; brother, Gerry Williams of Leesville, LA; seven grandchildren, many beautiful great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of twenty-five years, Prentice Hinson; parents, Joel Williams and Hazel Calcote; brothers, Milton Williams, Donald Williams.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 14, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM at Rosepine United Pentecostal Church in Rosepine, LA. Reverend Gary Bankson and Reverend Cole Weeks will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Burial will follow at Hinson Cemetery in Knight Community, LA.
