Carolyn Delores Charles McKnight, 71, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Monday, November 27, 2023.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of forty-eight years, Freddy McKnight of DeRidder, LA; daughters, Tiffany King and David, Jr. of Cypress, TX, Chavielle McKnight of Katy, TX; brothers, Greg Charles and Felicia of DeRidder, LA, Emmanuel Sears and Janice of Montgomery, AL, Emory T. Sears of Baltimore, MD, Ryan Johnson and Nicole of Baltimore, MD, Corey Sears of Abilene, TX, Kenneth sears of Abilene, TX; grandchildren, Asia Williams, Ka’Jia Taylor, Za’Khea McKnight, Chloee’ McKnight, Ayden King, Asher King and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, LaRoyal Charles, John Calvin Dixon, Odell Sears; brother, Terry Sears.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023 from 9:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM at Norris Memorial Church in DeRidder, LA. Pastor Murray C. Piper will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Bruce Moore, Marquis Moss, Terrance Moore, Chezaray Moore, Darrius Lynch, Jr., Jamie Archelle, Sr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Freddy McKnight, Greg Charles, Emmanuel Sears, Emory T. Sears, Ryan Johnson, Corey Sears, Kenneth Sears, David King, Jr. Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
