Carla Jeannette Giles Slaydon,59, of DeQuincy, LA passed from this life on Friday, July 16, 2021.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of eighteen years, Wayne Slaydon, Jr.; sons, James Nash and Dawn of DeQuincy, LA, Christopher Nash of Leesville, LA, Joseph Slaydon and Abbie of DeRidder, LA, Reginald Slaydon and Ester of Denver, CO; brothers, Robert Allen Giles and Toni of DeRidder, LA, Anthony Giles and Janet of Merryville, LA; thirteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Patsy Giles; sisters, Lisa Wilson, Elizabeth Trabue.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 19, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, July 20, 2021, also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home. Brother Dalton Isbell will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Anthony Wayne Giles, Jr., Damaien Nash, Robert Giles, Jr., Curtis Giles, Travis Wilson, Cody Brown. Honorary Pallbearers will be Brandon Brown, Robert Trabue. Burial will follow at Newlin Cemetery in Singer, LA.
