Carl Ulf Albinson, 85, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Wednesday, December 26, 2018.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Rebecca Theriot Albinson of DeRidder, LA; son, Leo Albinson & Rachel of Gibson, LA; daughters, Doreen Albinson Molason of Revere, MA and Sondra Albinson Welch of DeRidder, LA; stepdaughters, Mona Vincent Theriot & Daniel of Lake Charles, LA and Allora Vincent Couture and Dick of Young Harris, GA; sister-in-law, Sharon Vincent of Sweetlake, LA; seventeen grandchildren, thirty-four great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. He was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Rita Veazey Albinson; daughter, Rhonda Albinson Rubio; stepson, Rondell Vincent; parents, Carl and Johanna Albinson; sister, Greta Joan Gaedtke.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 28, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA with a Rosary Reading by Deacon Al Wining at 6:00 PM. Visitation will continue at 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 29, 2018.  Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, December 29, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in DeRidder, LA.  Father Jude will officiate the service.  Pallbearers will be Darren Theriot, John Vincent, Leo Albinson, Kevin Vincent, Shannon Theriot and Dick Couture.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Gary Fontenot, Robert “Boogie” LaBove, J.P. Willis and Daniel Theriot. Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
