Candace Sanders Barnes, 69, of Merryville, LA, passed from this life on Saturday, September 12, 2020.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 51 years, Nelson Barnes of Merryville, LA; daughters, Sara Barnes Sellers of Merryville, LA, Rhonda Barnes Marchie and Greg of Merryville, LA; brothers, Donald Sanders, Rodger Sanders, Sr., Steve Sanders, all of Bon Wier, TX; sister, Susan Irvin and Joe of Bon Wier, TX; grandchildren, Ashlee Tibuni and Louie, Bridgett Sellers and fiancé, Kris Williams, Shelby Royer and Kyle, Nelson Carter Marchie, all of Merryville, LA; great grandchildren, Adaline Royer, Keegan Tibuni, Rynn Royer; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Florene Sanders.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2020, from 2:00 PM until the time of service at 4:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Annette Peveto and Brother Wayne Squyres will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be John Irvin, Stephen Irvin, Matthew Irvin, Larry Irvin, William Sanders and Steve Sanders. Honorary Pallbearers will be Rodger Sanders, Jr., Charlie Sanders and Jordan Sanders. Burial/Graveside Service will follow at Merryville Cemetery in Merryville, LA.
