Calvin Edison Gleason, 93, of DeRidder, Louisiana, passed from this life on Saturday, February 17, 2024.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Audrey Rich of Rockvale, TN, Donna Melancon and Darren of Monroe, LA, Cheryl Weeks and James of DeRidder, LA; sister, Mae Blevins of Johnson City, TN; grandchildren, Jessica, Timmy, Sarah, James, Erin, Steven, Jr., Deven, Lana, Marla, Janay, Janelle; great grandchildren, Chandler, Coen, Silas, Lorelai, Roland, Mateo, Kayliana, Kylan, Kambryelle, Blayke, Jenna; two great-great grandchildren on the way and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Kathryn Gleason; infant son, Kevin Scott Gleason; parents, Vernon and Polly Gleason; brother, Corbie Gleason; sister, Dorothy Milks.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at 1:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Jay Alexander will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Darren Melancon, James Weeks, James Rich, Deven Melancon, Steven Stracner, Jr. Timmy Stracner. Honorary pallbearer will be Chandler Stracner. Burial will follow Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Plain Dealing, LA.
