Burt Coleman Keel, 73, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 22, 2021.

Those left to cherish his memory are daughter, Katty Lummus and James of DeRidder, LA; son, Stacy Fee of Leesville, LA; stepson, Kenneth Naquin and Anessa of DeRidder, LA, ; brother, Bennie Keel and Jo Francis of DeRidder, LA; special friend, Janice Procell and family; grandchildren, Dakota Lummus, Dustin Lummus, Tony Naquin, Clint Naquin, Isiah Naquin, Ashley Lucius and Brent, Cassie Naquin, Amber Fee; great grandchildren, Khloey and Isabella and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Keel; parents, Mid and Thelma Keel; brothers, B.D. Keel, Bruce Keel; sister and brother-in-law, Marcia and Lloyd Kennedy.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Graveside funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, October 1, 2021 at Old Cypress Cemetery in Rosepine, LA. Brother Buddy Freeman and Brother James Byrd will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Burial will follow at Old Cypress Cemetery in Rosepine, LA.
