Buford Nelson, 62 of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Saturday, March 26, 2016.

Those left to cherish his memory are his very devoted companion, Annie Mae Scott; brother, Willie (Bill) Clark Sr.; sisters, Elizabeth Maxie and Brenda Isler; adopted brother, Jeffery Holmes; sister-in-law, Joyce Clark; godsister, Lucille (Bit) Scott all of DeRidder; his self adopted children, Malcolm Isler, Kennetra Isler, LaQuinta Spikes, Kalise Spikes, Draya Colton, Jada Colton, Jaylynn Colton, Quinlynn Scott, Keke Hargrove and Xavier Scott; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Catherine Clark; and brother, Henry Clark, Jr.

Visitation and funeral service will be held Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in DeRidder, LA.  Visitation will begin at 9:00am until time of service at 11:00am.  Burial will follow at Newlin Cemetery in Singer, LA.
