Buddy Bailey

Buddy Bailey, 76, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Sunday, September 1, 2019.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Darin Bailey of Haughton, LA; daughter, Shannon Bates of Mandeville, LA; grandchildren, Austin Bates, Megan Bates, Jacob Bates, Michael Babcock, Marjorie Bailey and Logan Bailey; great grandchildren, Patrick Babcock and Ashlynn; and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Owen Rector and Doris Louise Bailey.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 from 5:00 – 9:00 PM at Unity Baptist Church in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 4, 2019, also at Unity Baptist Church in DeRidder, LA.  Brother Roger Gill and Brother Sam Carroll will officiate the service.  Pallbearers will be Dennis Milsap, Billy O’Neal, Sr., Dewey Wright, Jerry Evans, Duane Williams and Logan Bailey. Honorary pallbearers will be Ron Spivey and Bob Phelps.  Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, Louisiana.
