Brenda Kay Collins Franks, 64, of Merryville, LA, passed from this life on Tuesday, January 24, 2023.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, David Warden of Boerne, TX; daughters, Deanna Mabry of Merryville, LA, Jackie Franks of Merryville, LA, Ashley Franks of Merryville, LA, Laura Gordon of TX; brothers, James Collins of Hoxie, AR, Ricky Collins and Jena of DeRidder, LA, Gary Barbee and Millie of DeRidder, LA; grandchildren, Destiny, Chloe, Ariel, Gerilynn, Daryn, Briana, Samantha, Candace, Matthew, Logan, Garrett, Lauris, Kendra, BJ, Kaitlyn, Keegan, and Weston ; Twenty-seven great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Angela Krueger; husband, Jack Franks; parents, James and Joy Collins; brothers, Larry Collins, Sammy Collins; sisters, Joann Faciane, Barbara Farris, Diane Johnson.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 30, 2023 from 9:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM at Boxwood Church of Christ in Merryville, LA. Pastor Amy Sellers will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Ricky Collins, James Collins, Shane Williams, Billy Jenkins, Jamie Johnson, and Cole Collins. Burial will follow at Bivens Cemetery in Merryville, LA.
