Brenda Gayle Auter Whitman

Brenda Gayle Auter Whitman, 74, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Saturday, November 16, 2019.

Brenda taught second grade at Singer High School for 25 years.  She loved and was loved by all of her students.

Those left to cherish her memory are son, Daniel Whitman and Michelle of Texarkana, TX; daughters, Alicia Ammons and Dustin of Crestview, FL, Valerie Crouch and Tracy of DeRidder, LA; brother, Richard Auter and Paula of Belton, TX; sister, Beverly Auter Henderson of Clyde, NC; grandchildren, Brady, Noah, Ty and Maci Whitman, Allison, Courtney, Emily and Sydney Ammons, Ryan, Abbigayle and Annaleigh Crouch, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Lucille Auter; aunt, Ann Auter; niece, Shara Rusk and granddaughter, Kyla Madison Whitman.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22, 2019 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at The Church of the Nazarene in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 23, 2019 also, at The Church of the Nazarene.  Pastor Steve Willingham will officiate the service.  Pallbearers will be Brady Whitman, Noah Whitman, Dustin Ammons, Daryl Hartman, Richie Auter, Tim Auter.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Ryan Crouch and Ty Whitman.  Burial will follow Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
