Brenda Ann Mitchell

Brenda Ann Mitchell, 72, of Deridder, LA, passed from this life on Friday, July 16, 2021.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of forty-four years, Jerry Mitchell of DeRidder, LA; daughter, Sherry Thompson and Jeff Holloway of Mansfield, LA; mother, Gloria Mitchell of DeRidder, LA; brother, Donald Mitchell and Beverly of Olive Branch, MS; sisters, Linda Sue Bost and John, Janet Marie Abadi and Calvin, all of Carencro, LA; grandchildren, Daphanie LeAnne, Jennifer Nicole, Sherenda René and Kris; great grandchildren, Jerry LeRoy, Kace Turner and MyKayla LeAnne; special sisters, Darlene Stracner and Kathy Johnson, both of DeRidder, LA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, LeRoy Mitchell.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Hopewell Baptist Church in DeRidder, LA and will continue Sunday, July 18, 2021 at 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 4:00 PM also at Hopewell Baptist Church. Pastor Henry Hebert will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be James Mahaffey, Artie Smithkors, A.J. Smithkors, Chris Bost, Chris Stracener and Michael Lehr.  Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
