Bobby Lloyd Mason, 65, of Merryville, LA, passed from this life on Thursday, August, 6, 2020.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 45 years, Kathy Mason of Merryville, LA; son, James Lloyd Mason and Amanda Higginbotham of Merryville, LA; daughters, Angelia Mason Choate & David of Orange, TX and Christine Michelle Fanning of Merryville, LA; a very special friend, Jaron Lacombe of Ragley, LA. grandchildren, Erica Simpson, Steven Simpson, Ethan Choate, Dawson Fanning, Dillon Fanning, Eloise Latham, Kyleigh Mason, Serenity Mason, Hannah Higginbotham, Makayla Higginbotham, Hunter Higginbotham, and Allie Higginbotham and a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elzie and Alberta Mason; granddaughter, Kristina Pilley; sister, Betty Mason and brother-in-law, Murlin Bowling.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2020 from 5:00 PM TO 8:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Monday, August 10, 2020 also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in. Brother Frank Kendall will officiate the service and Linda Ashworth will assist with the reading. Pallbearers will be Roy Ward, David Boyer, Jeff Boyer, Russell Longoria, Michael Molander, Robert Molander. Honorary Pallbearers will be Robert Earl Thompson. Burial will follow at Merryville Cemetery in Merryville, LA.
