Billie Sue Stewart born Smith in Newton County, Texas on May 20, 1941, passed from this life at 2:30 PM on April 24, 2020 at the age of 78 years, 11 months and 4 days.

She is survived by her husband, Franklin Delano Stewart after 59 years and 4 months of marriage; three children, Teresa and Buzzy Laughlin of Merryville, LA, Greg and Machele Stewart of Porter, TX, Patti and James McFatter of Von Ormy, TX; eleven grandchildren, Alesha Pritchard and Josh, Toni Scantlin and Brian, Josh Cole and Kim, Robert Marchbanks and Ruby, Justin McFatter and Lindsey, Jason McFatter and Tiffany, Kyle Stewart and Sarah, Amanda Wyler and Chris, Sondra Quebedeaux and Alex, Jessica Beasley and John, Brandy Cook and Jeremy; great grandkids number in the one score and 10 or so;  sisters, Joyce Fell of Houston, TX, Betty Woods of Burkeville, TX, Ruthie Rogers of Houston, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed D. and Bessie Hubbard Smith; sisters, Eddis Lee Bryant, Mary Ann Wagnor, Juanita Turner.

Ross Whitaker will officiate the private service.
