Betty Jo James Presley, 71, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Friday, September 3, 2021.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of fifty-three years, Stephen Presley of DeRidder, LA; son, Russell Presley and Melissa of DeRidder, LA; daughters, Stephanie Presley, DeeDee Phelps and Brad, Brandie Johnson and Michael, all of DeRidder, LA, Lanie Johnson and James W., of Rosepine, LA; brothers, Larry James of Conroe, TX, Rusty James and Mary of Rosepine, LA, Harold James and Cassie of Rosepine, LA, Glen James and Debbie of Rosepine, LA; sister, Rosie Blankenbaker and John of Rosepine, LA; eighteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Clay Harbison; great granddaughter, Rilynn Harbison; parents, Russell and Nona Mae James; sister, Merle West; brother-law, Lee West; sister-in-law, Sue James; son-in-law, Steve Harbison.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021 from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church in DeRidder, LA. Brother Joey Rudisill will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Ricky Brown, Caleb Harbison, Gavin Hebert, Dawson Hebert, Brady Phelps and Ryan Hebert. Honorary Pallbearer will be Luke Johnson. Burial will follow at Marlow Cemetery in Pitkin, LA.
