Betty Eloise Blackmon

Betty Eloise Kellogg Blackmon, 76, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Friday, December 25, 2020.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 58 years, Gary Blackmon of DeRidder, LA; children, Sheila Bourgeois and Tim of Sulphur, LA, Scott Blackmon and Toni of DeRidder, LA; Kelly Blackmon of DeRidder, LA, Clark Blackmon and Lisa of Round Rock, TX; brother, Clyde Kellogg, Sr. and Deborah of Merryville, LA; grandchildren, Hunter Bourgeois, Mackenzie Bourgeois, Tyller Blackmon, Eric Blackmon; great grandchildren, Hayden Bourgeois, Kendyll Bourgeois; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilmot and Eloise Kellogg; grandson, Ryan Blackmon.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at First Baptist Church in DeRidder, LA. Reverend Jerry Masters will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Troy Blackmon, Jr., Uriah Blackmon, Evan Blackmon, Carter Blackmon, Tim Bourgeois, Hunter Bourgeois.  Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.

The family would like to especially thank Ms. Kaye Washington for the wonderful care and compassion she has given Betty over the time of her illness.
