Bessie Mae Gamble

February 19, 1924 - February 23, 2015

Bessie Mae Gamble, 91, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Monday, February 23, 2015.  Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Clarence Hightower, Jr. of Leesville, LA, Robert Gamble, Darrell Lynn Gamble, Felton Gamble, and Richard Gamble all of DeRidder, LA; daughters, Ruth Monroe and husband Jeff, Frankie Johnson, Bertha Lou Hightower, Cheryl Batter, Brenda Peeler, all of DeRidder, LA, and Emma Gamble of North Carolina; brother, Albert Williams of Lake Charles, LA; sister, Narvel Carhee of Many, LA; 26 grandchildren; 55 great grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Emma Williams; 4 children; and 2 brothers.

Visitation and Funeral service will be held Monday, March 2, 2015 at Mt. Canaan  Baptist Church in DeRidder, LA.  Visitation will begin at 9:00am until time of service at 11:00am.  Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder.  Rev. Louis F. Guy I will officiate.
