Benjamin Mabini, Sr., 88, of Rosepine, LA, passed from this life on Monday, November 6, 2023.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Michael Mabini and Jeanna of Welsh, LA; daughters, Rose Ann Jones and Ottis, Sr. of Rosepine, LA, Carmen Mabini of Rosepine, LA; bonus son, Michael “M2” of Temple, TX; brother, Fernando Mabini, Jr. of El Paso, TX; sisters, Erlinda Shafer of Germany, Rosario Klude of El Paso, TX, Mary Jane Hall of El Paso, TX, Karon Mabini of El Paso, TX; sister-in-law, Patty Mabini of Tucson, AZ; bonus sister, Zelia James of Rosepine, LA; grandchildren, Caleb, Keaton and Carissa, Jaydin, Cameron and Shelbie, Jethun, Jordan, Collin, Hazel and Ray, Larue, Regina and LeRoy, Michael “Pooh Boy”, Jared; bonus grandchild, Jessica H.; great grandchildren, Nathan, Kyle, Cecilia and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, golf buddies, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn Mabini; son, Benjamin Mabini, Jr.; parents, Fernando and Maria Mabini, Sr.; mother, Rita Abin; brother, Apolinario Mabini.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023 from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Brother Mike Mitchell will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Caleb, Keaton, Cameron, Jethun, Jordan, LeRoy. Burial will follow at Whitaker Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
