Barbara Ann Groves, 76, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Sunday, July 2, 2023.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Tony Groves and Shona of Saltillo, MS; daughters, Cynthia Curtis and Vernard of Clarksville, TN, Kimberly Bailey and Greg of Bowling Green, KY, Mary Clophus and Derrick of Sulphur, LA; brothers, Danny Groves and Mika of DeRidder, LA, Ricky Jefferson of DeRidder, LA; sisters, Rose Shelby of DeRidder, LA, Faye Gordon and John of DeRidder, LA, Mildred North of San Diego, CA, Almond Torres and Marvin of London, England; grandchildren, Courtney Curtis, Adrian Groves-Bailey, Tyree Curtis, Shaq Bailey, Tajha Groves, Kyra Groves, Keria Groves, Merrick Clophus, Rylee Clophus; eight great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Jeremiah St. Romain; parents, Mary Lyons Jefferson, Milton Groves, Lawrence Jefferson; brother, Lawrence Jefferson, Jr.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 8 from 8:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM at Sweet Home Baptist Church in DeRidder, LA. Pastor Alvin Peters will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Shon Shelby, Myron Shelby, Tyree Curtis, Adrian Groves-Bailey, Shaq Bailey, Trennis Johnson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Danny Groves, Ricky Jefferson, Vernard Curtis, Greg Bailey, Derrick Clophus, Tony Groves, Ronnie Shelby, Tyrone Fields . Burial will follow at Community Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
