Aubrey Gill

July 12, 1931 - August 14, 2014

Aubrey Gill, 83, of Pitkin, LA passed from this life on Thursday, August 14, 2014.  Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Delora Gill of Pitkin, LA; son, Dennis Gill and wife Melissa of Cypress, TX; daughters, Brenda Anderson and husband David of Cole Central Community, LA, and Patty Adams and husband Serrhel of Fayetteville, AR; sisters, Lela Gill, and Zela Jordan and husband Carl all of DeRidder, LA; grandchildren, Dustin Gill, Patrick Gill, Amanda Milnor, David Clendening, Jody Clendening, Casey Anderson, Brandon Schales, Megan Schales, Rachael Adams, Nicholas Adams, and Kim Johnson; 12 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Irene Gill; sister, Susie Ashworth.

Visitation will be held Sunday, August 17, 2014 from 2:00pm until 9:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral services will be Monday, August 18, 2014 at 10:00am at Smyrna Baptist Church, DeRidder, LA.  Burial will follow at Smyrna Cemetery.  Bro. Frank Ott and Bro. Tim Lee will officiate.

Services are under the direction of Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.
