Ashley Shaunta’ Ashworth, 35, of Kathleen, GA, passed from this life on Tuesday, September 28, 2021.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Aaliyah Tytiana Ashworth of Kathleen, GA; mother, Portia S. Ashworth of Louisville, KY; father, Alvin E. Ashworth, Sr. of DeRidder, LA; brothers, Quinton Eugene Sowells and Krystall of Kathleen, GA, Alvin Eugene Ashworth, Jr. and Amanda of Sacramento, CA, Brian Eugene Ashworth and Rosalyn of Goldsboro, NC; sisters, Sharena T. Sowells Johnson of DeRidder, LA, Collie Marie Wideman and Terrence of Bonaire, GA and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Archie and Florine Ashworth, Gladys Sowells.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at St. Mary Church of God in Christ in DeRidder, LA. Reverend Wilfert Williams will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Quinton Sowells, Alvin Ashworth, Jr., Brian Ashworth, Jamarquis Sowells, Melique Sowells, Antwon Mazyck. Honorary Pallbearers will be Alvin E. Ashworth, Sr., Terrence W. Wideman, Terrence J. Wideman, Terrell Wideman, Tayshaun Wideman, William A. Mazyck. Burial will follow at Spikes Cemetery in Bancroft, LA.
