Arvis Dewayne Midkiff

Arvis DeWayne Midkiff, 75, of Merryville, LA, passed from this life on Monday, April 10, 2017.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Lucille Quave Midkiff of Merryville, LA; sons, David Midkiff & wife Christine of Many, LA and Benny Midkiff & wife Carol of Pineville, LA; brother, Darrell Midkiff & wife Carolyn of DeRidder, LA; sister, Daneiva “Danni” Watson & husband Eugene of Merryville, LA; Eight Grandchildren; Three Great Grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. David C. Midkiff; his brother, Darval Midkiff.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from 5:00 – 9:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Service was held on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 11:00 AM also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home. Travis Murry officiated the service.  Pallbearers were Warren Cooley, Lance Watson, Ryan Midkiff, Webb Stark, Larry Cooley and Linus Lejeune.  Burial followed at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, Louisiana. He will truly be missed by all.
