Arthur Earl Temple

Arthur Earl Temple, 89, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Tuesday, October 17, 2017.  Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Arthur Lee Temple (Janice) of Westlake, LA and Lewis Temple (Anna) of Lake Charles, LA; sister, Shirley Temple Moss (Dub) of DeRidder, LA; grandchildren, Elizabeth T. Ostten (Jean-Paul) and Jennifer T. Kline (Tommy), Shauna Temple and Madison Temple; four great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbye Lee Cole Temple, parents, Mattison and Aline Temple, brothers, M.H. Temple, Jr. Charles “Rusty” Temple and sister, Fern Merchant.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral services will also be held at Myers Colonial Funeral Home on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 10:00 AM. Bro Lindsey Burns will officiate. Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home.
